Secession and border disputes in Africa: The case of Sudan and South Sudan border

Conflicts in Africa are increasingly becoming violent and endemic. Many of these conflicts related to crises identities, struggles for resources power contestations. A few escalate self-determination, separatist movements, secession. These mostly transcend national borders trigger the alteration redesigning borders, which itself becomes a source continued across borders. For instance, attainment independence by South-Sudan 2013 has raised hope achieving peace stability after one prolonged civil wars Africa. Nevertheless, new state South Sudan turned devil’s domain. The internal have further aggravated tensions region; addition border disputes with Sudan. After three years political from Sudan, there is still no agreement over 2,010-km that divides two nations.
